Field of Flags


Today we went over to Tempe Town lake to view the "Healing fields" in honor of those who died on September 11th. It was absolutely beautiful! I feel it is important to remember all those, and what a beautiful way to do so.Each flag represented one person, and affixed to each was a card with their name, where they were killed, and a little personal tribute. It was truly touching.
The ones with Teddy bears, were the ones to represent children.

    So cool, Katrina. Thank you for sharing this with us...it sounds like an awesome activity to do on 9/11 instead of getting in a car accident :)
